3DHEALS Community Event Recap: Melbourne – A Recap

On Wednesday 28th March, the Melbourne community gathered for their first event, Happy Hour at the rooftop bar of the Waterside Hotel. For the first event, it was well attended with researchers (the University of Melbourne, BIoFab3D at St Vincent’s Hospital), industry (OMX Solutions and Fab9) and healthcare professionals (The Austin Hospital) as well as many undergraduate, master and Ph.D. students. It was a fantastic opportunity the future engineers and researchers in the field to talk with those already working and innovating in 3D printing. The relaxed atmosphere and sunny weather offered a great opportunity to network before the Easter weekend. Many attendees were new to 3DHEALS and all are looking forward to future events!
