As the former development manager for dental materials at a dental company in eastern Switzerland, the experienced chemist Adalbert Schmid took the opportunity to become independent in 1987 and founded the company SAREMCO AG. He is enthusiastically pursuing his vision of developing products, which will be of the greatest possible benefit to patients and users. They include light-curing composite materials for restorative dentistry with particularly outstanding features regarding biocompatibility and functionality, but also light-curing composite materials for the cosmetics industry, such as coloured and modelling gels for nails.
In 2016 the future of the company was secured via a successful management buy-out. SAREMCO Dental AG and SAREMCO Cosmetics AG are now two companies with independent owners and management. Franca Schmid, a long-standing employee of SAREMCO with lots of experience in the dental industry, took over SAREMCO Dental AG as its owner and CEO and continues to focus on innovation and the biocompatibility of products and is expanding the international dealer network in a targeted manner. Adalbert Schmid remains with the company as a member of the Board of Directors.
