Lynxter is an additive manufacturing machine tools manufacturer, open and industry 4.0 oriented.
A young French start-up born in a garage under the sun of the Pays Basque (Bayonne), offering industry 4.0 open additive manufacturing machine-tools to industries (aerospace, biomedical, etc.), education and communities (technological platforms and fablabs).
We believe in creators. We are the right hand of demanding people who create and develop, by providing the best tools to materialise their ideas (rapid prototyping) and bring these ones to the market (rapid fabrication). A unique modular approach to bring advanced multi materials in the additive manufacturing world: elastomers, thermoplastics, composites… and much more to come.
We offer them new industrial grade manufacturing tools and services for rapid prototyping and functional fabrication of unique parts and small series:
– High range, modular additive manufacturing machines
– Services for an optimal user experience and shared advanced know-how. To develop exclusive applications (consulting, training, maintenance, supplychain and production management, sharing community)
Real “open” machines (materials, tools and software) dedicated to industrial performance and reliability, within a dynamic qualitative ecosystem.

Its S300X printer is capable of printing with a number of difficult materials: polyurethane, and especially silicone. According to Lynxter, the S300X is ideal for sectors such as medical for the production of prostheses and orthoses. In terms of the machine’s features, the 3D printer uses IDEX technology. This allows the 3D printing solution to use a dual extrusion head. Overall, the S300X offers a print volume of 300 x 250 x 200 mm for a material size of 1000 x 629 x 887 mm. The 3D printer also has some additional features, such as the heated print plate that can reach 160°, while the machine’s enclosure can go up to 40°. In addition, it has a standalone touch screen with a web interface. Finally, the S300X is capable of printing 800 mm/s with 12.5 micron meters of resolution on the X-Y axis, and 50 mm/s with 1 micron meter for the Z axis.
Silicone 3D printing contributes today to the improvement and simplification of the medical workflow by reducing the number of manual interventions involved in the production of ortheses and prostheses. It is also used to make custom orthopaedic and orthoplastic devices.
The S300X silicone 3D printer can print RTV2 silicones certified skin contact from 5 shA to 40 shA (45 sh00 to 86 sh00)
IDEX stands for Independent Dual Extrusion and refers to that technology that allows a 3D printer to work with both of its tool heads simultaneously and independently, resulting in many benefits throughout the entire printing process.
The S300X silicone 3D printer is equipped with 2 toolheads in IDEX configuration: the dual component LIQ21 prints the part and the single component LIQ11 prints the water soluble support.
IDEX technology offers many advantages:
– Total design freedom, even in overhang position thanks to the soluble supports.
– Multi-material, multi-color 3D printing without cross-contamination.
– Single or double extrusion printing according to your needs.
