CurifyLabs was born out of 10 years of research, undertaken by Niklas Sandler Topelius at Åbo Akademi University, Finland. His research into modernizing extemporaneous drug manufacturing caught the attention of Charlotta Topelius, a serial entrepreneur, who saw an opportunity to tackle the manual compounding processes in pharmacies.
In 2020, CurifyLabs was founded with the goal of digitizing and streamlining pharmacy compounding. Both pet lovers, Charlotta and Niklas saw a need for a technology to enable more effective, tailored treatments for pets.
CurifyLabs has continued to expand, building a team with extensive expertise across pharmaceutical formulation development, software development and quality control.
