She lives in Munich, where she also studied medical technologies at the faculty of mechanical engineering at the TU Munich. Her research concentrates on 3D printing of medical models and devices based on anatomical image data.

Stefan Leonhardt – (Kumovis GmbH)

Managing Partner, Kumovis

Stefan Leonhardt studied medical engineering at the Technical University of Munich. His research during his studies was focused on the influence of materials and manufacturing processes on the biocompatiblity of polymer parts. In 2015 he started his PhD programm at the institute of medical and polymer engineering at the Technical University of Munich, about the development of a biocompatible photopolymer for the production of individualized bioreactors used in tissue engineering processes. Since October 2017 he is a managing partner of the Kumovis GmbH, a startup that develops innovative 3D-printing systemes for the production of individulized implants out of PEEK.

Michael Berthold – (Implantology LTD)

Oral Surgeon / CEO Implantology Ltd UK

Michael studied dentistry at the University of Mainz. He did his oral surgery speciality training and was senior physician at the Privatzahnklinik Schloss Schellenstein. He obtained his M.Sc. in Implantology & dental surgery from the university of Muenster.
