Ever since the inception of 3DHEALS, we understand that our existence depends on our “Tribe”, a group of passionate professionals from different disciplines who are not just excited by the technology and share a vision that additive manufacturing can play a un-deniable role in personalized medicine and decentralized care distribution channel, but also understand the importance of having a holistic picture of what this space is like.
It is NOT just about a 3D printer or any 3D printing processes. It is not simply a “machine problem”. What will truly allow wide AM adoption and realize the potential of the technology in our future depends on advancements in many aspects of this ecosystem. This ecosystem includes not only expert healthcare providers/surgeons, dentists, or 3D printing specialist, but also material scientists, regulators, software engineers, designers, but also businesses, payors, and entrepreneurs.
Our Expert Corner blog aims to give our Tribe a channel to share their insights, expertise, and visions in a first-person narrative. The following is a list of blogs we invited experts from different fields to share their voices in chronological order (earliest to latest). In 2019, we began to publish these on a weekly basis. At this turn of the decade, the 3DHEALS team wants to thank all the experts who have contributed to this blog, as no one was paid for writing them.
